What to Expect for Your Wedding:
Q. What is your preferred style of photography?
A. At WPS we blend both classical and contemporary styles of photography. We use natural light, a trained eye and passionate photographers to capture the event as it unfolds. Most importantly, we get to know our bride and groom and provide them with the style of photography that we know will meet their expectations.
Q. Do you bring your own lighting?
A. Yes, we use professional equipment including lights, cameras, backdrops, reflectors, etc. We also bring backup equipment.
Q. Can I request certain images are taken at my wedding?
A. Our bride and groom complete a questionnaire before their wedding which provides us with special requests so that we can meet their expectations. We want to know everything from where the bride and groom purchased their rings, tuxedos, bridesmaids dresses and wedding gown. We work diligently with hair and make up professionals, coordinators, caterers and venues to stay on a timeline and so that we catch the wedding day requests as well as the wedding day moments.
Q. How many hours are included in my collection?
A. We have several collections to meet the needs of every client. Our collections range from 5 hours to an unlimited day of coverage.
Q. Do you work overtime?
A. If an event is extending its contracted time it is up to the client if they want us to stay. We have an hourly overtime charge which is stated in every contract.
Q. Do you bring additional photographers?
A. Additional photographers are necessary depending on the specific event. A few factors that would require additional photographers are the size of the wedding, venue layout, bride and groom getting ready at two separate locations, etc. Not all weddings need additional photographers and we are comfortable making that recommendation for each client.
Q. How soon do I need to secure my wedding date?
A. As soon as possible. Weddings book close to a year in advance.
Q. How many images can I expect from my wedding?
A. The number of images depends on the number of photographers and the size and duration of your wedding. Usually around 800-1,200 edited, color corrected and proofed images.
Q. How long does it take to see my proofs?
A. If your wedding is on a Saturday we have the proofs ready by the following Friday.
