What to Expect for Your Bridal and/or Engagement Session:

Q. Is it mandatory that I do both a bridal and engagement session?

A. Absolutely not, but it is strongly recommended. A bridal session is like a trial run. It allows you time to get comfortable in front of the camera. It is a great opportunity to figure our hair and make-up. Most importantly, it allows you time to get to know us and for us to get to know you.

Q. How far in advance do I need to book my session for a bridal portrait?

A. We recommend 6-8 weeks before your wedding day.

Q. How do I submit my portraits to the paper?

A. We will send your chosen image to the newspaper of your choice.

Q. Can I do my bridal portrait on a high key white background and fun ones outside too?

A. Yes, many of our clients choose to do studio and on location portraits for both bridal and engagement sessions.

Q. What products are available from an engagement session?

A. We offer reprints, enlargements, save the date cards, thank you cards, signing books, signing boards and albums.

Q. Can my make-up and hair get done at the studio?

A. Yes, we have plenty of space to accommodate hair and make-up professionals.

Q. Do I bring my own flowers?

A. We have professionally done bouquets of silk flowers to use for portraits.  We have a variety of colors and shapes. Always feel free bring your own if you would prefer.

Q. I want to match my mom's portrait, is this possible?

A. Yes, we have done this from 3 generations of brides. Mention to us that you want to match another portrait.

Q. Do you pick up my wedding dress from the boutique before the portrait session?

A. Yes, we are a full service studio. We will pick up and return your dress from any local boutique.

Q. I want to display a framed oil portrait from my bridal session at my wedding.  How much time do we need to plan for this?

A. The suggested 8 week time frame will allow us time to complete the portrait and custom order a frame.
